Tobacco Never Quits is a public awareness campaign to remind parents that Big Tobacco has not, is not, and never will stop targeting our children. 

The tobacco industry resorts to despicable tactics to hook youth, including aggressive
marketing techniques, and most recently, the introduction of new smokeless products that
look and taste like candy.

About 1,400 kids in Maine will become new smokers this year. What's more, 27,000 Maine kids now under 18 will ultimately die prematurely from smoking. It’s obvious that the nearly $59 million annually the tobacco industry spends on promoting its products in our state is having a deadly effect.

Produced by the Partnership For A Tobacco-Free Maine, this campaign is also an appeal to parents to keep the conversation going with their children about the dangers of tobacco— the leading cause of preventable death in the country.
